There are journeys, and then there are voyages. Of A Lifetime chronicles the voyage undertaken by three generations of the renowned De Le Rue family to Antarctica. Xavier, a seven-time world champion; his younger brother Victor, a three-time world champion; and his daughter Mila who is turning 18 and embarking on her first expedition.
Throughout the journey, from crossing the infamous Drake Passage to riding unimaginably steep lines rising straight from the ocean, the film captures the team's inner dialogues through personal diaries. For Xavier and Victor, it’s a giant playground filled with first descents; for Mila, it’s an intimidating initiation into big-mountain free riding.

This expedition system is different. Engineered to endure the most extreme conditions, it’s strategically designed to keep resources in use. The waterproof-breathable membranes, insulation and smaller components, including cuff and hood adjustments, zips and drawcords, are all made from the same base material to be recycled more easily at the end of their usable life.
