I read the reviews on these gloves before I parted with my money and the majority were negative however I just couldn't understand why, so I thought I'd buy them for myself and judge, as not much companies are producing (stylish) smartphone gloves.

Bit of background:
I am not a professional, a runner or anything like that. I simply needed a pair of gloves I could use my phone with, as I'm headed to Stockholm, Sweden where temperatures are quite cold right now. I did not have major expectations of these gloves apart from 1. To keep me warm- warmer than most other fleece gloves. 2. To be able to use my smartphone as I normally would. And 3. To look good.

I can gladly say these gloves have fulfilled those three things.

Once on, they are very warm. They seem thin when you first pick them up but the fleece grips to your fingers tightly with a very snug fit. Nice and warm

I immediately picked up my phone and begin using it. I tried to unlock my phone using the fingerprint sensor, which didn't work (Obviously, duh lol). Anyways I began to use Whatsapp, instagram, Text and even my Camera. All worked fine and as normal. Worth noting that sometimes the keypad doesn't pick things up when you start typing fast but this is only expected and it hasn't bothered me. I'm very impressed with the 'E-tip' technology and what North Face have done is really good.

Finally, some reviews have said the design is 'cheap' and the logo on the hand 'peels off'. After having these for only a day I cannot speak on longevity. However, I imagine those who have experienced these gloves falling apart have used them improperly. These gloves are NOT for extreme weather conditions i.e snow and probably rain. North Face produces other gloves for that. They are not overpriced, I think what you pay for is the E-TIP technology, not the design.

I went by the size guide and Medium was still tight to put on but once they were on they were fine. I advise going into store to try a pair for size.

It is suprising that The North Face produced sth rubbish. You will definetly feel the cold till your bones. I was paying for The North Face products without questioning. Because I did not question, I tore the label of these gloves to use. What a big mistake! So I cannot return them. But just because of this shame, The North Face should wıthdraw this product and should refund to our victims. So sad!

Bought from Tiso in Glasgow. Fine while you're in the shop trying them on. Do not appear when outside to give any protection from the cold.

Look great and work perfectly for the electronic stuff. However I have a wee pair of wooly gloves which do that and keep your hands warmer than when you're not wearing them.

Warn them three times and already the front is discolouring, almost as pale as the back of the gloves...not a good product thought it would be better for the money!

I've had a pair of TNF e-tip gloves since 2012 and loved them, but they started to look a bit tatty so I decided to replace them with these...... BIG mistake! These are rubbish! The logo which used to be embroidered is now just a transfer so they looked cheaper made, but I put my faith in the product and bought them anyway! These gloves fell apart at the seams the third time I wore them! I wear them for walking and driving....by really heavy duty wear. So very disappointed with these. Clearly TNF are happy to continue to take the same money as the previous quality product but have really scrimped on the production of these. The gloves don't keep your hands warm either... their primary function... at temperatures in single figures my finger tips were still cold! Avoid this product!!

These are absolute rubbish , I knew they were not waterproof but I did expect them to be windproof . They work with touchscreens up to now , but you may as well have no gloves on than have these on because your hands will get cold either way.

I tried lots of different make gloves of the same style and these fitted and felt the best and that's why I bought them not just because it said NorthFace on them, good gloves for general use. I think they are a little over priced.

I really like these gloves, why? Because i love the way it fits inside your hands. It feels really nice. The design is also such a great thing! The on button on your index finger is such an unique thing. I would really recommend this!

These gloves are good for walking and running but I had a pair of e-tip gloves in 2012 and they were so much better than this latest version. They had embroidered logo's and really nice finger tips to show off the fact they were e-tip. Unfortunately I lost them while walking in the Lake District so I was given these as a replacement. This latest version look far less special and the logo's are just stuck onto the glove and look like they would just peel off over time. They now look a lot cheaper and less interesting. A real shame.

Literally the only thing i don't like is the power button graphic on the index finger. All fingers can be used on touchscreens, not just teh index finger.

The gloves themselves are grand
