On September 21, The North Face invites you to an exclusive outdoor event: the “Off-Trail Experience”. This exciting adventure takes participants through the impressive Höllental valley, over the Hupfleitenjoch, up to the Schwarzkopf and on to the Kreuzeck. This challenging hike offers the perfect opportunity to test The North Face's latest shoe collection in real-life conditions.

Together with the Vivalpin guides, we set off in October from Garmisch-Partenkirchen to the Zugspitze by fair means, i.e. completely without cable car support.

"From the valley to the glacier" is the motto of our Zugspitze ascent through the picturesque Reintal valley, with over 2,200 meters of altitude difference waiting for you. In one day, we climb through the Partnachklamm gorge in Garmisch-Partenkirchen up through the Reintal valley to the end of the valley on the Zugspitzplatt. The highlight of the tour is the final summit ascent from Sonn-Alpin at around 2,600 meters to Germany's highest peak, the Zugspitze at 2,962 meters.

A perfect challenge for you and your equipment: The North Face will provide you with high-quality layers so that you are perfectly equipped to traverse all altitudes. Look forward to a varied tour through dense mountain forests up to the high alpine zone at almost 3,000 meters in the best company of the Vivalpin guides.

The total length of the tour is a crisp 22 kilometers and over 2,200 meters in altitude, which must be mastered in one day. We are looking for fit mountaineers who want to take on the challenge and put The North Face equipment through its paces.
